Remarks :
Named : Ida Drapkin was Ruth’s neighbor and they were both fantastic gardeners and good friends. After Ruth passed away, Ida named a fuschia after her in her honor. Ida passed a number of years ago however there is an Ida Drapkin Fuchsia Garden at the South Coast Botanical Gardens in Palos Verdes, which is where Ruth and Ida lived.
